Changes to Article Processing Charges (APC)

Effective 1 February 2026, the World Journal of English Language will increase its Article Processing Charge (APC) from USD 1,800 to USD 2,100 per article. The increased APC will be used to enhance the quality of services the journal offers to authors and readers.

All submissions and payment deadlines are based on Eastern Time (ET), Ontario, Canada.

The APC policy is as follows:
• Manuscripts submitted on or after 1 February 2026 (ET) will be subject to the new APC of USD 2,100, regardless of when payment is made.
• Manuscripts submitted before 1 February 2026 (ET) qualify for the USD 1,800 rate, provided payment is received within 6 months of the acceptance date.
• Resubmissions invited by the editors (e.g., “Revise and Resubmit”) will retain the APC rate based on the original submission date, if resubmitted within three months of the initial decision.
