Dr. Geier is an assistant professor at the University of South Florida. Prior to this appointment Dr. Geier was a teacher, principal and superintendent in Michigan for over 16 years. Dr. Geier's main research interests are in school finance and law. He is the author of the book Enhancing School Facility Quality and has been published in the Journal for Cases in Educational Leadership, Mississippi College of Law Review, Journal of Education Finance and School Business Affairs.
